DaData.ru quick address entry

The add-on speeds up address entry on checkout. It shows DaData.ru suggestions, helps the customer pick the right address without typos, and fills in the data needed for delivery automatically.

What it is for

The add-on helps reduce checkout time and prevent address mistakes. The customer selects a ready-made suggestion, while the store receives the delivery details already filled in.

How it works

After you enter the API key, the add-on connects DaData.ru suggestions to checkout address fields. When a customer chooses an address, the add-on fills the form with the needed values and helps complete the order faster. If the key is missing, suggestions and autofill stay disabled.

Instructions for DaData.ru quick address entry

The add-on connects DaData.ru suggestions to checkout address fields. After a suggestion is selected, it helps autofill the address data so the customer can finish checkout faster.

What the add-on does

  • shows address suggestions while the customer types on checkout;
  • automatically fills in the postal code;
  • can populate the city and region from the chosen suggestion;
  • refreshes delivery data together with LiteCheckout;
  • disables suggestions when the API key is missing.

Where to find it

Open Administration → Add-ons → Manage add-ons, then open DaData.ru quick address entry and enter the API key in the API section.

On the storefront, the add-on works on the checkout page where the shipping address is entered.

How to check it

  1. Open the add-on settings and enter a valid DaData.ru API key.
  2. Go to checkout on the storefront.
  3. Start typing a shipping address.
  4. Select a matching suggestion from the list.
  5. Check that the postal code, city, and region were filled automatically.
  6. Make sure delivery data updated without manual re-entry.

If suggestions do not appear, check the API key and whether LiteCheckout is available in the flow where delivery data is refreshed.

Отличный add-on — значительно ускоряет ввод адреса на оформлении заказа, удобный и практичный. Помогает снизить ошибки при заполнении, легко настраивается и работает стабильно.

Модуль неплохой, но есть большой недостаток, срабатывает только на странице заказа, в редактировании учетной записи или в административной панели данная функция не работает.
