Copyright Footer

MS: Copyright footer adds a clean copyright line with the store name and a MakeShop.pro link to the storefront. The block can be placed in the footer or another layout area, so the site always shows developer attribution in a consistent format.

What it is for

The add-on lets you add the branded “Developed by make shop” block without editing theme templates manually. It is useful for stores that want to keep the standard CS-Cart footer structure and show the developer link in a predictable style.

How it works

Once enabled, the add-on registers a separate block for the layout manager. The administrator adds it to the required layout section, usually the footer. On the storefront, the block builds a copyright line with the current year or store year range, the company name, the “Developed by” text, and a link to MakeShop.pro. If showing the block is disabled in the settings, the line is not displayed.

Instructions for Copyright Footer

The add-on adds the MS: Copyright block to the storefront. The block displays a copyright line with the year, the company name from store settings, developer attribution, and a link to MakeShop.pro.

What the add-on does

  • adds the MS: Copyright block to the storefront;
  • shows a copyright line with the year and company name;
  • displays developer attribution and a MakeShop.pro link;
  • lets you hide the block through the add-on settings;
  • supports adding rel="nofollow" to the link.

Where the module is located

  • Add-ons → Manage add-ons → MS: Copyright footer — the add-on card with settings and description;
  • Design → Layouts — add the MS: Copyright block to the required section, usually the footer.

Settings

  1. Open the add-on card and enable the Show Copyright setting if you want the line to appear on the storefront.
  2. If needed, enable the no active link option so the MakeShop.pro link gets the rel="nofollow" attribute.
  3. If you need different attribution or link wording, edit the add-on language variables through the standard CS-Cart translation editor.

How to place the block on the storefront

  1. Open Design → Layouts and choose the layout where the copyright should appear.
  2. Add the MS: Copyright block to the required layout area.
  3. The block is usually placed in the lower part of the site next to other service links.
  4. Save the layout and open the storefront.

How to check the result

  1. Make sure the Show Copyright setting is enabled in the add-on settings.
  2. Check that the MS: Copyright block is added to the required layout area.
  3. Open the storefront and verify that the selected area displays the copyright line with the company name and the MakeShop.pro link.
  4. If no active link is enabled, check the page source and make sure the link has the rel="nofollow" attribute.
