Installation

Install the addon via Add-ons → Manage add-ons. Find «New orders» and click «Install».

Configuration

After installation, open the addon card and configure:

• Refresh rate (minutes) — interval in minutes for sending requests to receive new order data. Recommended: 1–5 minutes.
• New order highlight time (minutes) — how many minutes to highlight a new order.
• Highlight color — background color for highlighting (e.g. #ffe6d5).
• File for sound notification — upload an audio file to User Files. In the browser settings, allow sound playback on your site. For Chrome: chrome://settings/content/sound → «Allow to play sounds» → add your admin domain.
• Play sound alert while there are orders with «Open» status — enable if sound should play when there are orders with «Open» status.

Using the addon

Go to Orders → Manage orders. The order list will automatically refresh at the configured interval. New orders are highlighted. With sound enabled, the uploaded audio file plays when a new order arrives.

Verification

Create a test order on the storefront. Ensure it appears in the admin order list and is highlighted. Check sound playback when the option is enabled.

Maintenance

Update the addon via standard CS-Cart mechanisms or the upgrade center. To remove, use Add-ons → Manage add-ons.
