Installation

The addon is installed via CS-Cart standard means through Add-ons → Manage add-ons. Find the «Hot Deals» addon and click «Install».

Configuration

After installation, go to the addon settings (Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Hot Deals → Configure) and specify:

• End Date — promotion end date and time in dd.mm.yyyy hh:mm format (e.g. 31.12.2025 23:59)
• Promotion Label — text displayed above the timer (e.g. «20% off until end of year»)
• Text color — text color in HEX format (default #ffffff)

Adding the block to the storefront

Go to Design → Block manager, select the desired layout (e.g. «Home page»), find the «Hot Deals» block in the list of available blocks and drag it to the desired place on the page.

Verification

1. Set the promotion end date in the future
2. Open the storefront page where the block is placed
3. Make sure the timer is displayed and updates every second
4. Set the date in the past — the block should be hidden

Maintenance

Update the addon via CS-Cart standard means (Upgrade center) or from the addon git repository. To remove the addon, use Add-ons → Manage add-ons.
