How it works
You set the promotion end date and the text shown in the promo block in the add-on settings. On the storefront, the add-on displays a countdown to the selected moment and updates it automatically. When the promotion ends, the block is hidden.

The add-on adds a promo block with a countdown timer until the end of a promotion. It helps highlight urgent offers, show customers how much time is left, and make limited-time discounts more noticeable.
What the add-on does
- shows a storefront countdown timer in days, hours, minutes, and seconds;
- displays the promo label above the timer;
- uses the selected text color for the label and timer digits;
- hides the block after the promotion ends;
- updates the countdown automatically on the storefront.
The add-on is useful for promotions that have a fixed end date and need to look more urgent and noticeable on the storefront.
Where to find it
The add-on settings are available in the add-on card in the CS-Cart admin panel. The promo block itself is placed on the storefront through the block manager.

- Block manager — where the Hot Deals block is added to the needed storefront layout;
- Storefront — the page where customers see the promo block and countdown.
How to configure
Set the promotion end date, the text shown above the timer, and the text color. Then add the add-on block to the needed storefront layout. The block is displayed only while there is still time left until the promotion ends.
Once the end date has passed, the block is hidden automatically and no longer appears on the storefront.
How to check the add-on
- Set the promotion end date in the future.
- Place the Hot Deals block on a storefront page.
- Open the storefront and make sure the promo label and countdown are visible.
- Check that the countdown values decrease automatically.
- Move the end date to the past and confirm that the block is hidden.
