Installation

Install the add-on via Administration → Add-ons → Manage Add-ons. After installation, the module automatically adds the necessary field to the database.

Usage

For Administrator

  1. Add extended brand description:
    • Go to Administration → Product Features.
    • Find the "Brand" type feature (or create one).
    • Open a brand variant for editing.
    • Find the "Extended description of brand" field.
    • Fill in the extended description (HTML supported).
    • Save changes.
  2. Check display:
    • Open the brand page on the storefront.
    • Verify that the extended description is displayed correctly.

For Customer

On the brand page, the extended description is displayed (if filled), helping to get additional information about the brand.

Troubleshooting

  • Field not displayed: Check that the module is active and the feature type supports variants.
  • Description not displayed on storefront: Check templates and ensure they are overridden correctly.
