Installation

1. Ensure the CommerceML addon is installed
2. Ensure the site runs in multivendor mode
3. Install the addon via Addons → Manage addons
4. Activate the CommerceML for Vendors addon

Configuration

Go to Addons → Manage addons → CommerceML for Vendors and configure the parameters:

• Enable the display of the Administration→Data Sync menu — enable to show the data sync menu to the main administrator (enabled by default)
• Allow vendors to create products based on generic products — enable if vendors need to create products based on common products during 1C exchange (disabled by default)
• Allow vendors to create new products — enable if vendors need to create new products through 1C exchange (disabled by default)
• Do not clean prices — enable to avoid resetting volume discounts when exchanging a common product from the main administrator (disabled by default)

Usage

Data sync menu: After enabling the setting, log in to the admin panel as the main administrator, go to the «Administration» section — the «Data Sync» menu item will appear.

Vendor product creation: With the settings enabled, the vendor performs data exchange through 1C. Depending on the settings, they can create products based on common ones, create new products, or create product variations.

Verification

1. Check the display of the «Data Sync» menu (log in as main administrator)
2. Enable product creation settings and perform data exchange through 1C as a vendor
3. Check product creation in the vendor admin panel
4. Check price handling when exchanging a common product from the main administrator
