Instructions for Credit Aggregator

What the add-on does

The add-on displays a list of credit and installment offers on the product page. Offers are built from payment methods that the administrator has marked for the aggregator. The customer sees seller-specific options, can filter them by type and term, and the selected payment method is passed to the cart automatically when the product is added.

The add-on is not a payment processor. It does not charge customers, calculate real bank terms, change order statuses, perform hold/capture, refunds, webhook/callback processing, fiscal receipts, 54-FZ, or DigitalKassa operations. Those scenarios are handled by the configured payment methods and external payment services.

Where the add-on is located

Main settings are available under “Administration → Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Credit Aggregator”.

Offer parameters are configured in payment methods: “Administration → Payments → Payment methods”. A “MS: Credit aggregator” section appears in the payment method form.

On the storefront, the add-on works in the product tab “Buy on credit”. During installation, the add-on creates the credit aggregator block and the product tab for this block.

Add-on settings

The add-on has two switches:

Enable filter by loan type — shows switching between credit and installment options on the storefront when both offer types are available for the product.

Enable filter by loan term — shows filtering by the number of months. Values are taken from payment methods included in the aggregator.

Configuring payment methods

Open the required payment method and fill in the “MS: Credit aggregator” section:

Show in aggregator — enable this option if the payment method should be shown in the “Buy on credit” tab.

Number of months — specify the credit or installment term in months. This value is used in the term filter and in the monthly payment estimate for installments.

Offer type — select “Credit” or “Installment plan”. The add-on uses this field to separate offers on the storefront.

For correct operation, the payment method must be active. In Multi-Vendor, the add-on considers payment methods of the product sellers and global store payment methods.

How the storefront works

In the “Buy on credit” tab, the customer sees seller product offers and the available credit or installment payment methods for them. If filters are enabled, the customer selects the offer type and term. For installment offers, the add-on shows an estimated monthly payment as the product price divided by the number of months.

When the customer adds the product to cart, the add-on passes the selected payment method to the cart. The subsequent payment is processed by the selected payment method using its standard flow.

How to check the result

1. Enable the add-on and both filters in its settings.

2. Open one or several payment methods, enable “Show in aggregator”, set the offer type, and specify the number of months.

3. Make sure these payment methods are active and available for the product or seller.

4. Open the product page on the storefront and switch to the “Buy on credit” tab.

5. Check that offers are displayed, type and term filters work, and the correct payment method is selected when the product is added to cart.

If offers are not displayed

Check that “Show in aggregator” is enabled for the payment method, the offer type is selected, the term in months is specified, and the payment method itself is active. Also make sure the product is linked to a seller for which this payment method is available, or that a global store payment method is used.

If the “Buy on credit” tab is not visible, check product tabs and the credit aggregator block in the block manager.
