The add-on helps connect Facebook Pixel to your store and track customer actions that matter for advertising and analytics. It makes it easier to understand how visitors interact with products, the cart, and checkout, and then use that data in your ad campaigns.

How it works
First, you enter the Pixel ID in the add-on settings and choose the events you want to track. After that, the add-on connects Pixel to the store and sends the selected events when a visitor performs the matching actions.
If the events list is left empty, the add-on tracks all supported events. This is useful when you want a full picture of customer behavior right away and do not want to limit tracking to a few scenarios.

Instructions for Facebook Pixel
The add-on connects Facebook Pixel to the store and sends key customer actions to it. This helps you track page and product views, add-to-cart actions, checkout steps, purchases, and other events that matter for advertising and analytics.
What the add-on does
The add-on adds the base Facebook Pixel code to store pages and sends selected events when customers perform the matching actions. If the events list is left empty, the add-on tracks all supported events at once.
Where to find it
- Facebook Pixel add-on card is where the main settings are stored.
- Pixel ID is the identifier that links the store to your advertising account.
- Events is the list of events you want to track.
How to configure the add-on
- Open the Facebook Pixel add-on card.
- Enter the Pixel ID.
- In Events, choose only the events you need for your campaigns, or leave the list empty if you want to track everything at once.
- Save the settings.
How to check it works
- Open any storefront page and check the PageView event.
- Open a product page to make sure Pixel sees the product view if that event is enabled.
- Add a product to the cart and check AddToCart.
- Go to checkout and verify InitiateCheckout.
- Complete a purchase and check Purchase.
- If you enabled extra events, verify them too, for example Registration, Search, or AddToWishlist.
What to keep in mind
- An empty events list means all supported events will be tracked.
- The add-on works automatically, without manual code insertion on each page.
- Use the Pixel ID that belongs to the correct advertising account.
