The “Buy on Credit with Kaspi” add-on adds a Kaspi credit purchase button and an installment availability label to the product page. Customers can see that a product is available on credit right on the storefront, while the store can control this option separately for each product.

The add-on is useful for stores that sell through Kaspi and want to show the credit purchase scenario in CS-Cart product pages without adding the widget manually to every product.

Purpose

The add-on helps display the Kaspi credit button for products where credit purchase is enabled. This gives customers a shorter path from viewing a product to completing the purchase through Kaspi.

How it works

The administrator enters the Kaspi merchant code, selects the city, and enables the button in the add-on settings. Then the “Kaspi credit purchase” flag is enabled for selected products, and those products display the credit purchase button and informational label on the storefront.

If the product flag is disabled or the add-on is disabled in settings, the credit button and label are not shown on the storefront.

Location in admin

The settings are available under “Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Buy on Credit with Kaspi”. The credit availability flag is located on the product editing page. Bulk flag updates are performed through the standard product import section.

Installation

  1. Open “Add-ons → Manage add-ons”.
  2. Install the “Buy on Credit with Kaspi” add-on in the standard way.
  3. After installation, open the add-on settings and make sure the add-on is enabled.

Configuration

  1. Open “Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Buy on Credit with Kaspi”.
  2. In the Your merchant code field, enter the Kaspi merchant code.
  3. In the Store city field, select the city that should be used by the Kaspi widget.
  4. Enable the Enable the button setting to show the button on the storefront.
  5. Save the settings.

Enabling credit for a product

  1. Open “Products → Products” and go to the required product page.
  2. Enable the Kaspi credit purchase flag.
  3. Make sure the product code is filled in, because it is passed to the Kaspi widget.
  4. Save the product.

Importing the flag through products

  1. Open “Administration → Import data → Products”.
  2. Create or open an import preset for updating existing products.
  3. Map the product SKU to the Product code field.
  4. Map the CSV column to the ms_kaspiy_flag field.
  5. Use the value Y to enable credit purchase. Any other value will be treated as disabled.
  6. Select the strategy for updating existing products only and run the import.

Checking the result

  1. Open on the storefront a product where the Kaspi credit purchase flag is enabled.
  2. Check that the Buy on credit button is displayed on the product page.
  3. Check that the Installments available label is displayed on the product.
  4. Disable the product flag or the Enable the button setting and make sure the button and label are no longer displayed.

Troubleshooting

  • If the button is not displayed, check that the add-on is enabled and that the button setting is active.
  • If the button is missing only for one product, check the Kaspi credit purchase flag and the product code.
  • If the Kaspi widget data is incorrect, check the merchant code and selected city in the add-on settings.
  • If the flag did not change after import, check field mapping and the strategy for updating existing products.
