Buy on Credit with Kaspi

“Buy on Credit with Kaspi” adds the Kaspi credit widget and an “Installments available” label to the product page. Customers can see the credit option directly on the storefront, while the store controls the button separately for each product.

What it is for

The add-on is intended for stores that sell products through Kaspi and want to show the credit purchase scenario directly in CS-Cart product pages. It helps highlight products available on credit and shortens the path from viewing the product to submitting an application in Kaspi.

How it works

The administrator enters the Kaspi merchant code, selects the city, and enables the button in the add-on settings. Then the “Kaspi credit purchase” flag is enabled for the required products. On the storefront, the add-on loads the Kaspi script, passes the product SKU, merchant code, and city to the widget, and displays the credit button and installment label.

If the product flag is disabled or the button is disabled in the add-on settings, the widget and label are not shown on the storefront.

Instructions for Buy on Credit with Kaspi

What the add-on does

The add-on displays the Kaspi credit purchase button and the “Installments available” label on the CS-Cart storefront for products where a dedicated flag is enabled. The widget receives the product SKU, Kaspi merchant code, and selected city, while the credit application itself is handled by Kaspi.

The add-on is not a CS-Cart payment processor: it does not change order statuses, process payments, refunds, hold/capture operations, fiscal receipts, 54-FZ, or DigitalKassa settings. Its purpose is to show the Kaspi credit widget on selected products.

Where the add-on is located

  • Add-on settings: “Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Buy on Credit with Kaspi”.
  • Product flag: product editing page, the “Kaspi credit purchase” field.
  • Flag import and export: standard CS-Cart product import and export, the ms_kaspiy_flag field.

Add-on settings

  • Your merchant code — the Kaspi merchant code of the store. The value is passed to the widget as the seller code.
  • Store city — the city used by the Kaspi widget. The add-on provides Almaty and Aktau.
  • Enable the button — enables the Kaspi script, the “Buy on credit” button, and the installment label on the storefront.

Enabling credit for a product

  1. Open the product editing page.
  2. Enable the Kaspi credit purchase flag.
  3. Make sure the product code is filled in: it is passed to the Kaspi widget as data-merchant-sku.
  4. Save the product.

Importing and exporting the flag

Use the standard product import and export tools to manage credit availability in bulk.

  • The flag field is named ms_kaspiy_flag.
  • The Y value enables credit purchase for the product.
  • Any other imported value is treated as disabled.
  • When updating existing products, map products by a standard import identifier, for example by SKU.

How to check the result

  1. Enter the Kaspi merchant code, select the city, and enable the “Enable the button” setting.
  2. Enable the “Kaspi credit purchase” flag for a test product with a filled product code.
  3. Open this product page on the storefront.
  4. Check that the “Buy on credit” button is displayed.
  5. Check that the “Installments available” label is displayed for the product.
  6. Disable the product flag or the “Enable the button” setting and make sure the button and label disappear.

If the button is not displayed

  • Check that the “Enable the button” setting is enabled.
  • Check that the “Kaspi credit purchase” flag is enabled for the product.
  • Check that the product code is filled in.
  • Check the Kaspi merchant code and selected city.
  • If the flag was updated by import, check the ms_kaspiy_flag field mapping and the imported Y value.
