Found it cheaper?
The add-on adds a “Found it cheaper?” button and a modal request form to the product page. It helps collect lower competitor price reports, keep the customer on the storefront, and give the manager a quick reason to contact the buyer with a better offer.
What it is for
- to help keep customers who found a lower price elsewhere;
- to collect competitor offer details directly from the product page;
- to let the store offer individual terms before the customer leaves;
- to turn price objections into a manageable sales process.
Key features
- a “Found it cheaper?” button on the product page;
- a modal form for a lower-price request;
- configurable fields for link, city, name, phone, and e-mail;
- configurable texts for the button, popup title, and success message;
- request delivery to the administrator e-mail;
- optional personal data consent text in the form.
How it works
The customer clicks the button on the product page, fills in the form, and sends the request. The store administrator receives an e-mail with the product name, competitor link, and customer contact details, then can follow up with a better offer.

Instructions for Found it cheaper?
What the add-on does
The add-on adds a “Found it cheaper?” button to the product page and opens a modal form where the customer can report a lower competitor price. The request is sent to the administrator by e-mail.
Where to find the add-on
The add-on settings are available under Add-ons → Manage add-ons. The add-on card contains two parameter groups: General and Options.
General contains the recipient e-mail, sender e-mail, popup title, button text, text before the form, text after submission, and the personal data notice option.
Options controls which form fields are shown to the customer and which of them are required.
How to configure it
- Specify the e-mail address that should receive requests and the sender e-mail address.
- Adjust the popup title, button text, pre-form text, and success message if needed.
- Enable the personal data notice if it should be shown in the form.
- In the Options section, choose which fields are visible and which are required.
How the form fields work
- Full link to a similar product lets the customer send a competitor product URL.
- Your city collects the customer city.
- Your name collects the customer name.
- Your phone collects the phone number.
- Your E-mail collects the e-mail address.
Each field can be shown or hidden, and each visible field can be made required.
How to check the result
- Open a product page on the storefront and make sure the “Found it cheaper?” button is visible.
- Click the button and check that the modal form opens.
- Submit the form with test data.
- Check that the request arrives at the configured recipient e-mail address.
- Check that the configured confirmation message is shown after submission.
- If anti-bot protection is enabled, make sure it works for the ms_found_cheaper scenario.
