Hide products without images
The add-on helps keep the catalog tidy: it finds products without a main image and can place them after products that already have one.
What it is for
It is useful when product cards are filled in gradually. Customers see items with ready images first, while managers can quickly find cards that still need visual content.

How it works
The add-on checks whether a product has a main image pair. When the option is enabled, each storefront result shows products with images first while retaining the original sorting inside both groups. Additional images do not replace the main image for search or status checks.

Instructions for “Hide products without images”
What the add-on does
The add-on works with a product’s main image. It can move products without that image to the end of storefront lists, find them in the administration panel, and synchronize product statuses with the presence of a main image.
Where to find the add-on
The setting is available under Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Hide products without images. The check command is located in MakeShop.pro → Hide products without images.
Configure the storefront order
- Open the add-on settings.
- Enable Display product without images at the end of the catalog.
- Save the settings.
Products with a main image are then shown before products without one. The selected catalog sorting is retained within each group. When the option is disabled, the add-on does not change the product order.
Find products without images
- Go to Products → Products.
- Open advanced search.
- Expand MS: Search for products without images.
- Enable Products without images and run the search.
The filter checks the main image only. Additional product images are not considered.
Bulk status change
The MakeShop.pro menu command activates products with a main image and disables products without one. Review the advanced-search list first: the command can activate previously disabled products when they already have a main image.
How to verify the result
- Prepare products with and without a main image.
- Enable the setting and open a category: products with images should appear above products without them.
- Run advanced search with Products without images enabled and compare its results with product cards.
- If needed, run the check command and compare several product statuses before and after it runs.
