Vendor personal account on the storefront

The add-on opens a personal account for the vendor directly on the storefront. In this account the vendor works with their own products and orders through the familiar administration panel interface, without getting access to the admin panel itself.
What it is for
The add-on is intended for a marketplace that does not want to give vendors access to the administration panel, while vendors still have to manage their own products and process orders on their own.
The account opens only for an authorized vendor linked to a store, so outside visitors cannot enter it.
Key features
- a vendor personal account on the storefront;
- managing the products of the vendor's own store;
- working with the orders of the vendor's own store;
- access for the authorized vendor only: other visitors are redirected to the login page;
- automatic restriction of data to the vendor's store — products and orders of other vendors stay unavailable;
- keeping the vendor inside the account: navigation across products and orders stays in the account instead of leading to the admin panel.
How it works
The account opens on the storefront at dedicated addresses: one section is responsible for the vendor's products and the other for the orders. On entry the add-on checks that the visitor is authorized and linked to a store; otherwise it redirects to the login page.
For the account sections the add-on uses the standard administration panel interfaces, but automatically substitutes the current vendor's store. As a result, the vendor sees and edits only their own products and orders, while the work goes through the familiar tables, filters, and cards. The add-on also tracks navigation: links to products and orders inside the account stay in the account instead of taking the vendor to the admin panel.
The add-on has no separate settings — it starts working right after installation. The account is available to the vendor on the storefront, while the administration panel stays closed for them.

Instructions for the “Vendor personal account on the storefront” add-on
What the add-on does
The add-on opens a personal account for the vendor on the storefront. The account gives access to the products and orders of the vendor's own store only, and the work uses the familiar administration panel interfaces without access to the admin panel itself.
Where to find the add-on
The vendor account lives on the storefront: the products section opens at ms_vendor_personal_account.products, and the orders section opens at ms_vendor_personal_account.orders. The add-on has no separate settings page.
Opening the account
- Log in to the storefront with the vendor account — a user linked to the store.
- Open the account address:
ms_vendor_personal_account.productsfor products orms_vendor_personal_account.ordersfor orders.
If the visitor is not authorized or is not linked to a store, the add-on redirects to the login page.
Working with products
In the products section the vendor sees the product list of their own store and works with it just like in the administration panel: search, filters, editing, and adding. The data is automatically limited to the vendor's store, so products of other vendors stay unavailable.
Working with orders
In the orders section the vendor views and processes the orders of their own store: the list, filters, the order card, and status changes. Only the orders of their store are available.
How to check the result
- Log in to the storefront as the vendor and open the products section — the list must contain products of this store only.
- Open the orders section — the list must contain orders of this store only.
- Log out and open the account again — the login page must be shown.
- Make sure that navigation across products and orders inside the account stays in the account.
Typical problems
- The account redirects to the login page. Check that you are logged in as a vendor and that the account is linked to a store.
- The product or order list is empty. Check that the vendor's store actually has products and orders.
- The administration panel opens instead. Make sure the storefront account address is used, not the administration panel address.
