Instructions for AI Translator (GPT)
AI Translator (GPT) translates store content into other languages and helps keep localizations up to date. The add-on can translate products, categories, pages, features, filters, menu items, feature variants, company descriptions, and language variables.
What the add-on does

How to run translation
On the Website → Automatic Translation page you can translate products, language variables, categories, company descriptions, features, filter names, feature variants, menu items, and pages. Products also support translation of several selected items from the products list context menu.
Automatic translation while editing
If the related settings are enabled, the add-on can translate data automatically when you save a product, category, or company description. For products, you can choose whether to fill only empty languages or all languages.
Cron
The Cron tab shows ready-made commands for automatic translation of already created products, categories, and vendor descriptions. The commands can be scheduled, and the template takes the selected storefront into account.

How to verify
- Select the base storefront language.
- Set the translation service and required API parameters.
- Run translation from one of the sections on the Automatic Translation page.
- Check the translated values in the target language.
- If logging is enabled, check the event log entry.
If translation does not start, first verify the base storefront language and the required translation service parameters.
