Customizing the display for salespeople
This add-on helps marketplace owners tailor the vendor administration panel: remove unnecessary elements and leave only the actions and data required for daily work.
What it is for
Use the add-on to make the vendor interface simpler and safer: limit selected customer data, hide unused settings, and remove actions vendors do not need.
Key features
- Configure vendor profile tabs and fields, including moving the SEO name and description to the General section.
- Control manager information, notes, buttons, customer data, and search fields on order pages.
- Hide selected menus and fields on product pages and restrict product attachments to PDF files.
- Control the visibility of information and buttons in import and export areas.
- Restrict vendor order-status changes through the standard order status settings.
How it works
Options are grouped into Vendor information, Orders, Products, and Import/export data. When an option is enabled, the corresponding element is hidden in the vendor interface while marketplace administrators retain access to standard screens.

Instructions for Customizing the display for salespeople
What the add-on does
The add-on controls the visibility of selected tabs, fields, buttons, and blocks in the Multi-Vendor vendor administration panel. It does not delete store data; it changes only what vendors can see.
Where to find the add-on
Open Administration → Add-ons → Manage add-ons → Customizing the display for salespeople → Settings. Options are grouped into Vendor information, Orders, Products, and Import/export data.
Configure the vendor profile
Vendor information options can hide the Modules, Terms and conditions, and Vendor plan tabs, as well as selected additional tabs. You can also move the SEO name and Description tab content to General, hide the invoice logo, and redirect a newly registered vendor to the vendor panel after the Become a vendor form is submitted.
Before hiding the Modules tab, check whether the vendor needs its data: some fields are moved to General while other elements are no longer available in the vendor interface.
Configure orders
In Orders, enable only the required restrictions: hide the manager, customer and administrator notes, save button, settings button, customer data in the list, and customer name, email, or phone fields in search. Separate options control sales reports and the order details sidebar.
To restrict order statuses, use the standard order status settings. Mark statuses vendors may not select, or a status from which vendors may not change an order to another status. The add-on settings provide a reminder, while the rules themselves are configured in order statuses.
Configure products and attachments
In Products, you can hide settings menus, taxes, import buttons, the Online cash registers tab, and the Fur product checkbox. Attachment options can rename Attached files to Attached documents and allow only PDF files.
If the PDF-only option is enabled, notify vendors in advance: other file formats will not be accepted when attaching a file to a product.
Import and export
Import/export data options can hide vendor information on the import page and order export buttons. Use them when vendors should follow an agreed data workflow.
How to check the result
- Enable one option, such as hiding the customer phone in order search, and save the settings.
- Sign in as a vendor and open the corresponding page.
- Confirm that the selected element is hidden while adjacent elements remain available.
- Check the same page as an administrator; the standard administrator interface should remain available.
- For status restrictions, create a test order and confirm that the vendor cannot select a restricted status.
If the result differs from expectations
- Confirm that the option is enabled in the correct section and the settings were saved.
- Make sure the test is performed as a vendor rather than an administrator.
- Disable options one at a time to identify which setting affects the page.
- For order statuses, review the restrictions on the status settings page itself.
