Dependence of product status on characteristics
This add-on changes a product status automatically according to the value of the selected feature. If the product has the Да variant, it is disabled. If it has the Нет variant, it is enabled again.
Why it is useful
- to enable or disable products based on one feature value;
- to avoid manual status changes after bulk edits;
- to keep product visibility tied to a single characteristic;
- to run a separate status refresh for the whole catalog.

How it works
First, create a product feature of the Selectbox type and add the Да and Нет variants. Then enter its ID in the add-on settings. After that, assign the feature to products and launch the bulk status update. The add-on finds products by feature value and updates their status automatically.

Instructions for Dependence of Product Status on Characteristics
This add-on ties the product status to one feature value. You select a feature, assign it to products, and run the update so that product statuses change automatically.
Installation
Make sure the add-on is enabled in Administration → Add-ons → Manage add-ons. The add-on is intended for automatic installation in the Ultimate edition.
Configuration
- Open Administration → Product features.
- Create a feature of the Selectbox type.
- Add two variants: Да and Нет.
- Note the feature ID.
- Open the add-on settings in Administration → Add-ons → Manage add-ons → MS: Dependence of product status on characteristics.
- Enter the feature ID and save the settings.
Usage
Assign the feature to products in the product card. If a product has the Да value, the add-on disables it. If a product has the Нет value, the add-on enables it again. To refresh statuses in bulk, open /index.php?dispatch=disable_products.disable.
How to check
- Assign the Да value to one product.
- Run the bulk status update.
- Check that the product became disabled.
- Assign the Нет value to another product.
- Run the update again and check that the product is enabled.
If the status does not change
- check that the feature ID is correct;
- make sure the feature contains Да and Нет variants;
- verify that the product really has the required feature value;
- if the product has another value, the add-on leaves its status unchanged.
