The add-on splits the customer name field on the checkout page into two separate fields: first name and last name. This makes customer data easier to collect, keeps order details clearer, and helps store staff work with buyer information more accurately.

How it works

After the add-on is enabled, two fields appear on the checkout page instead of one. The customer enters first and last name separately, and both values are saved to the customer profile. If these fields are marked as required in the profile settings, they remain required at checkout too. When the add-on is disabled, checkout returns to the standard single name field.
